Karen Colclough of Wilson, Wyoming, died while on a church mission trip in Nicaragua on April 12, 2014. She was 37 years of age.
Raised in Lynnfield, she was the daughter of Douglas E. Colclough and Janet (Russell) Colclough, and the sister of Michael Colclough. Karen was an honors graduate of Lynnfield High School, and an honors graduate of the University of New Hampshire.
Gary Jay "G.J." Stone, Jr. was born Feb. 3, 1975 and passed away Oct. 20, 2015.
He grew up in Troy, Michigan and from an early age he had a passion for snow and the outdoors. Winter weekends were spent skiing with his best friend, his dad. He was an accomplished Olympic-hopeful mogul skier.
Barbara D. Campbell, 85, passed away at her home in Providence on Oct. 17, 2012.
Barbara was an avid skier and joined the Beaver Mountain Ski Patrol as an auxiliary patroller. At the time Barbara joined the ski patrol, auxiliary patrollers were not part of the National Ski Patrol. Barbara encouraged and lobbied the NSP to allow auxiliary patrollers to be part of the system at NSP ski areas.
Our dear friend and fellow Park City Mountain Resort patroller Keith Bates passed away at the age of 79 in his home on October 14, 2013. Keith was an original member of Park City Mountain Resort’s mountain patrol since its first season in 1963 (then known as Treasure Mountain). He was the longest tenured patroller at Park City Mountain Resort and made many lifelong friends with a half century of continuous patrolling.
